Assistant Business Operations Manager

Creighton University in Omaha, NE is seeking to hire an Assistant Business Operations Manager Student Life.

This full-time position supports the efforts for Division's budget management, revenue generation and collection, expense tracking, and relationship management.

Provides leadership and support to established processes inside of campus dining, housing, vending, and food trucks. Helps evaluate and mitigate expenses for the Division through approval processes.

Some evening / weekend hours may be required dependent upon demands. Should be prepared to work 40+ hours a week, including evening and weekend hours, during critical times of year, such as move-in and move-out.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Oversee tracking and submitting of inter-departmental charges for a variety of dining programs.
• Process purchase orders, reimbursements, requisitions approvals, and journal entries.
• Cashiering responsibility including credit card processing and reconciliation, check and cash deposits, egregious damage billing, inter-departmental charge issuance, petty cash management, and p-card process auditing.
• Assists reservations to in collect payments, and contract-obligational documents.
• Assist with vending and bottling contracts including complaints, refunds, tracking, and vendor needs to maintain effective working partnerships.

Coordinate donations for campus and oversee vending.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in business administration, communications, or a related field OR 5 years of experience in a similar field or with similar duties required.

• One or more years of business or finance experience preferred.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, organizational and planning skills.
• Interpersonal / human relations skills, written and verbal communication.
• Experience with use of Microsoft products, including Excel.
• Must demonstrate a strong Commitment to the Catholic, Jesuit mission of Creighton University
