A leading defense company is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join their state-of-the-art facility in the Greater Tucson, AZ area.
In this role, you will work with a team of qualified professionals to ensure all manufacturing operations are completed safely and efficiently.
The Manufacturing Supervisor will have the following responsibilities :
- Document accurate manufacturing records and statistics
- Monitor KPI's
- Assist in coordinating shipping requirements
- Train manufacturing personnel
- Oversee inspections of facility machinery
- Collaborate with other department leaders as required
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives
The Manufacturing Supervisor will have the following qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- 2+ years' experience in manufacturing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Six Sigma and LEAN manufacturing certifications a plus
