The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist assists the pharmacy management team in the provision of clinical pharmacy services within a specialty area (e.

g. critical care, oncology, medicine, surgery).

Required Qualifications :

• PharmD or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
• California Pharmacist Registered upon hire.
• BPS certification by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in Pharmacotherapy and / or specific area of practice (where applicable and within 2 years of hire if not already certified)
• When eligible and where applicable, obtain a Board of Pharmacy Preceptor license
• Basic Life Support-Provider (BLS) where applicable
• ACLS / PALS / NRP where applicable
• 2 years PGY2 residency training - or - PGY1 residency training and 2 years of experience within relevant practice setting - or - a minimum of 4 years of experience in specialty practice setting
