Summary
Under the direct supervision of a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Lead Technologist or Supervisor, processes Laboratory testing in sections where the successful completion of a clinical rotation has occurred.
Tasks performed will include only those which do not require certification or licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
Qualifications
EDUCATION :
Required : Active enrollment in, with progression toward completion, or completion of an Associate degree program in Medical Laboratory Science.
EXPERIENCE :
Required : Completion of a clinical rotation in the section(s) of work assignment.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE / REGISTRATION :
Trainee license in Medical Technology subject to State of Florida requirements.

reviews and reports lab results and performs operation and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
Education :
Required : Currently enrolled in an NCCLS-accredited medical technology, or medical laboratory technician program, and have completed all pre-clinical, core medical laboratory sciences
