What You'll Do

• Will prepare simple and routine rebar placing plans of structural component using structural, civil and / or architectural drawings and specification.
• Has an understanding of concrete construction and exposure to large construction projects
• Is able to operate and draw in MicroStation (preferably) or AutoCad.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

• 1 year of previous detailing experience preferred
• Previous experience with Auto CAD or MicroStation preferred.
• Experience and practical knowledge of rebar detailing per industry standards preferre
• Must meet CMC attendance standards
• Ability to interact and communicate with co-workers, company leaders, and customers in a positive manner required
• Must demonstrate outstanding organization and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work overtime as necessary outside of normally scheduled shift with little or no advance notification
• Most importantly, has a desire or "passion" to be in the construction industry as a design professional

Your Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Vocational certificate in CAD design / drafting issued from an accredited school or college, or equivalent preferred
