The Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor at Furukawa Electric Thermal Management Solutions and Products Laguna, Inc. is responsible for assisting in the management of the facilities and maintenance department.

This role involves organizing and overseeing maintenance schedules, evaluating facility systems, developing maintenance procedures, and ensuring timely completion of repair work.

The position requires strong organizational and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Organize and oversee the schedules and work of maintenance technicians, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for maintenance staff, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facilities and maintenance department, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Evaluate systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repair needs, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance.
  • Assess building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed correctly, safely, and in a timely manner, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to the facilities and maintenance department, including record-keeping, reporting, and inventory management.
  • Oversee co-workers and act as the supervisor in their absence, ensuring continuity of operations and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with other departments and external contractors to coordinate maintenance and repair activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all staff.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. (Licensed engineer)
  • Minimum of 2 years facilities supervisory experience.
  • Preferably with experience in construction project management.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using email, MS Office, and other related communication tools.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : Php21,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
