Overview

IU Health Physicians is hiring! We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced and supportive Emergency Medicine team at IU Health Methodist Hospital

Position Details

• 1.0 FTE, rotating shift- days and nights 8-12 hour shifts 12-17 shifts per month Weekend and holiday rotation
• No call
• Expected patient volume : 226 ED visits / day
• Provide acute care for all patient types; focused care on lower acuity patients with potential collaborative care on high acuity cases as needed.

Qualifications :

• ACNP, FNP, or PA certifications required
• Will accept new graduates who completed a clinical rotation in the ED during program

Facility Description

With 1,000 beds, IU Health Methodist Hospital is a large tertiary referral center with over 130 ICU beds. It serves as the largest trauma center in Indianapolis, as well as a highly subspecialized center for cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, lung transplantation, and neurocritical care.

IU Health is building a new downtown hospital and campus, which will consolidate operations of the adjacent IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals.
