We’re a force multiplier for developer productivity. We design and deliver the tools and processes engineers need to maximize their effectiveness and build products quickly, confidently and with high quality.

In close collaboration with our world class engineering team and through a deep understanding of the software development life cycle we systematically identify opportunities to improve how engineers build, test, and release high quality features to TTD's customers.

You will have the opportunity to manage the product teams that are responsible for how we ship our software to production.

This role will incorporate stakeholder needs across the engineering organization to drive positive improvements to our overall developer productivity.

Your team will own their charter, end-to-end, and work on long-term roadmaps while enhancing existing features or tools and continuously improving efficiency.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :

  • You will be responsible for leading the Developer Experience & Productivity PM team.
  • You will work closely with stakeholders across our product and engineering teams to understand their requirements and the technical governance standards we must meet.
  • You will define and lead execution for deliverables with meaningful impact to operational efficiency of the platform and business.
  • You will regularly and effectively collaborate with area leaders and stakeholders across the business and client teams.
  • You will build processes and tools for assessing employee morale and leverage the insights for environment-improving initiatives across multiple teams.
  • You will leverage data to analyze hiring effectiveness and advocate for meaningful improvements.
  • You will identify, motivate, coach, and develop other team leaders and managers.
  • You will develop and refine processes to analyze your team's specific performance metrics and act upon insights from this analysis to anticipate impediments to long-term team efficiency.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE :

  • A track record for leading a developer productivity team while building efficient tooling and processes.
  • 12+ years of experience as a Technical or Platform Product Manager working in a technology-heavy role, including defining the strategy and roadmap for the platforms you built.
  • A proven track record of partnering with engineering teams to solve complex, technical problems and delivering large and impactful software projects.
  • Excellent communication skills including the confidence to participate in very technical conversations.
  • A deep understanding of modern infrastructure environments both on prem and in cloud, DevOps, and an ability and desire to keep on top of industry trends.
  • The Trade Desk does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firm recruiters. Fees will not be paid in the event a candidate submitted by a recruiter without an agreement in place is hired;

such resumes will be deemed the sole property of The Trade Desk. The Trade Desk is an equal opportunity employer. All aspects of employment will be based on merit, competence, performance, and business needs.
