We are seeking an Animal Health Supervisor for our adoptable shelter pets. Current CA RVT License required. This individual will need to possess strong leadership and communication skills.
The qualified individual should be proficient in general practice including assisting the DVM with spays, neuters, soft tissue surgery and dentistry.

As an Animal Health Supervisor onsite, you will have our state-of-the-art medical facility with in-house equipment at your disposal to properly perform the needs of patients.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITES :
As the Animal Health Supervisor, you will help oversee and mentor our Vet Assistant staff and administrative support staff within the shelter.
Communicating and disseminating appropriate medical policy, standards, and training is conducive to your success. We love our amazing staff, so our candidate will be responsible for maintaining a positive and encouraging environment.

- Practice all medical protocols under strict safety standards and correct any lazy or disjointed practices among yourself or others immediately

As this position may require occasional driving duties, employee must possess a valid Driver's License. Employee must complete a Driver Information Form and provide a recent DMV Driving Record Report to be kept on file, as well as proof of insurance.
