Our highly trained team of fourteen board certified ophthalmologists includes eight fellowship trained sub-specialists. Services and specialties include comprehensive eye care, cataracts, glaucoma, refractive procedures (iLASIK), corneal disorders, retinal disorders, pediatric vision disorders, oculo-facial plastics (functional and aesthetic services) and optical.
Must be able to work in a highly collaborative manner with staff, physicians, and members of our healthcare community and always strive to be patient oriented with excellent analytical skills.
The responsibilities of the Optometrist include to perform thorough routine eye exams, perform pre- and post-operative checks, identify patients’ visual acuity, field of vision, and hand-eye coordination.
They will diagnose sight problems, such as nearsightedness and color blindness, prescribe corrective lenses and medications, refer patients with ocular pathology and / or surgical needs to ophthalmologists as indicated.
