- MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
- To utilize knowledge and experience to ensure that all Human Resources (HR) policies and procedures are strategically aligned with the Organization’s business goals.
- To provide practical, consistent, and proactive support and guidance to other division managers on HR programs and practices to ensure that business needs are met while remaining compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
- KEY AREAS OF ACTIVITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
- Identifies issues with Managers and provides guidance and practical solutions to complex and diverse HR issues.
- Acts as primary contact for all employee programs and benefits, and accurately maintains all employee data in HRIS in ADP.
- Ensures compliance with existing, changing, and / or new legislation by developing, reviewing, and revising HR policies, and maintaining and updating policy manuals and employee handbooks, as needed.
- Works with hiring managers, agencies, and recruiters to develop position needs, and to recruit, test, screen, and onboard new employees.
- Conducts new employee orientation programs and provides educational training to managers and employees on difficult and complex issues.
- Reviews employee grievances and acts accordingly to investigate and promptly resolve issues.
- Assist in Assesses, negotiates, and designs employee benefits programs, and administers all benefits and compensation packages.
- Utilizes outside resources to monitor issues and concerns regarding employment law and communicates potential changes to senior management including all EEOC reporting, labor contracts for additional locations, and immigration requirements for internal transfers
- Responsible for all site administration of HR policies and procedures, benefits administration, time and attendance, and payroll administration
- Ensure consistency in policies, procedures, training requirements, and overall employee / manager culture throughout all locations of the Business Unit
- Provides reporting for all levels for headcount, budgeting, federal, and local requirements

- SKILLS NEEDED
- 10+ years of Human Resources experience.
- Minimum of 5 years HR Management experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Administration or related field
- Capacity to convey difficult and challenging information to employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to influence and persuade senior management by presenting sound and best-practice HR and legal information in a business-oriented manner.
- Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization and achieve cultural change in the face of potential resistance.
- Articulate communicator with an ability to reach a diverse audience, both verbally and written.
- Solid commitment to customer and / or employee services.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail.
- Ability to administer HRIS system for HR interface, Benefits Administration, Time & Attendance, & Payroll systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Minimum of 7 years in ADP Payroll and Human Resource Experience

Primary measures of successful performance will be :
- Manage HR policies and programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Receive zero notices of violation or administrative consent orders regarding legal, and regulatory requirements.
