Responsibilities of the COO / CFO role :
- With four direct reports, the COO / CFO will have overall responsibility for all of the company's operations, financials, and human resources.
- Provide strategic operational and financial leadership.
- Oversee property management, maintenance and facilities management, and all accounting functions.
- Conduct and oversee financial planning and analysis.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting..
- Communicate financial performance and strategy to all stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications for the COO / CFO role :
- 7+ years of experience in operations and accounting.
- Background in any of the following : real estate development, property management, construction, any of the skilled trades : HVAC, plumbing, electrical.
- Strong sense of urgency.
- CPA or MBA.
- Experience working for a smaller privately held company.
- Support from a visionary, proven CEO who is invested and involved.
Location : South Bend, Indiana (Hybrid Schedule : 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
