Responsibilities :
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly, utilizing Dayforce software.
- Prioritize and audit time records from various locations, make corrections or adjustments, and process through the full payroll cycle using Dayforce.
- Set up and administer all garnishments and withholding orders through Dayforce, ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and global regulations.
- Responsible for all payroll activities, including ensuring Dayforce software aligns with local, state, federal, and global regulations.
- Register with new tax agencies as needed due to new business or new employees, as well as updating Dayforce with new account information, including ensuring every tax agency is set up with a tax filing responsibility and auditing new-hire tax information.
The ideal candidate :
- CPP or FPC Certification
- Experience with Dayforce
- Expertise in MS O & Advanced MS Excel Skills
- Experienced in Reconciliation of payroll accounts
- Experience with multi-state (US) & international payroll (Canada), weekly, bi-weekly & monthly payroll.
- Proven ability to analyze issues / problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
- Understand the perspective of others and be open-minded.
- Interact and effectively communicate (verbal and written) with employees at all levels of the organization as well as with outside vendors.
- Adapt to an ever-changing environment, ability to multi-task, results-oriented
- Take initiative and work independently, lead and inspire others, and work in a team environment.
