Position : Cloud Architect- Snowflake / Databricks
Location : Alpharetta GA (Hybrid)
Responsibilities :
Cloud Architecture Design and Implementation :
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based data solutions using Snowflake and Databricks.
- Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, design specifications, and technical documentation.
- Ensure alignment of solutions with business requirements and industry best practices.
Data Engineering and Integration :
- Build and optimize data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake and Databricks.
- Implement data governance and security policies to ensure data quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to enable efficient data access and analysis.
LLM Integration and Optimization :
- Design and implement solutions to integrate LLMs with Snowflake and Databricks.
- Optimize data storage and processing for LLM workloads.
- Explore and evaluate new LLM technologies and their potential applications.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization :
- Monitor the performance and health of cloud data solutions.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization.
- Implement proactive monitoring and alerting systems.
Collaboration and Mentorship :
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, data warehousing, and LLMs.
Essential :
- 15+ years of experience in cloud architecture and data engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Experience with LLM technologies and their applications.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable :
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with data governance and security frameworks.
- Certifications in Snowflake, Databricks, or relevant cloud technologies.
