Position : Cloud Architect- Snowflake / Databricks

Location : Alpharetta GA (Hybrid)

Responsibilities :

Cloud Architecture Design and Implementation :

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based data solutions using Snowflake and Databricks.
• Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, design specifications, and technical documentation.
• Ensure alignment of solutions with business requirements and industry best practices.

Data Engineering and Integration :

• Build and optimize data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake and Databricks.
• Implement data governance and security policies to ensure data quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to enable efficient data access and analysis.

LLM Integration and Optimization :

• Design and implement solutions to integrate LLMs with Snowflake and Databricks.
• Optimize data storage and processing for LLM workloads.
• Explore and evaluate new LLM technologies and their potential applications.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization :

• Monitor the performance and health of cloud data solutions.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization.
• Implement proactive monitoring and alerting systems.

Collaboration and Mentorship :

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, data warehousing, and LLMs.

Essential :

• 15+ years of experience in cloud architecture and data engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Experience with LLM technologies and their applications.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable :

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with data governance and security frameworks.
• Certifications in Snowflake, Databricks, or relevant cloud technologies.
