Duties
- Provide legal counsel to clients regarding their rights and case strategies.
- Draft legal documents relevant to client cases.
- Represent clients at pretrial hearings and advise on strategic decisions after each hearing.
- Manage court appearances, trial preparation, motion drafting, witness interviews, and legal research.
- Analyze case outcomes using legal precedents.
- Handle a diverse workload of cases, ensuring timely management.
- Conduct legal analysis to explore potential benefits for clients’ cases.
- Collect additional evidence to support the defense or counter the prosecution’s charges.
- Prepare clients for depositions and work with witnesses and experts to build a strong case.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Criminal Defense.
- Expertise in handling complex criminal cases at the federal, state, and local levels.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues on case strategy and legal tactics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred, but not mandatory.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law in the state of Nevada.
