Overview
Reports to : Title Supervisor
Functions Supervised : None
Primary Functions : Supports the Title Specialists by processing paid collateral notes and releasing titles.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Review daily paid loan activity to verify paid status of loans.
- Release titles to appropriate person or entity.
- Ensure accurate data entry to the title tracking system.
- Process authorizations for payoff - verifying sufficiency of funds received, ownership of collateral, and preparing documents to apply funds to loans.
- Respond to routine inquiries and requests for lien satisfactions.
- Receive incoming mail from couriers and distribute it to the appropriate individuals.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education : High school graduate or equivalent.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education : Not Applicable
Experience / Skills : Use of 10-key calculator and the ability to type 45 wpm. Ability to communicate effectively. Six months of clerical experience.
Tenure : Consumer Lending Title Support Specialist II, Category 15, requires meeting proven acceptable performance standards as established by management.
Directly related work experience and / or accelerated training completion may be substituted for tenure.
Compensation
Salary Pay Range :
- Consumer Lending Title Support Specialist I (Category 16) : $36,582 - $51,947 annually
- Consumer Lending Title Support Specialist II (Category 15) : $38,412 - $55,312 annually
Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.
In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
