Thales Defense & Security, Inc. is currently seeking a team player to fill a Solder Assembler role at our Clarksburg, Maryland Campus.
This role reports to the Manager of Manufacturing.

Responsibilities
- Read and build assembly drawing along with the manufacturing work instructions.
- Handle small precision tools, hardware, etc.
- Shall be accountable for quality, quantity and inspection of all work performed.
- Keep team lead informed of any build issues.
- Properly sign in on correct PIDs, complete ESD testing, and follow all manufacturing guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain a neat appearance in their work area, reducing FOD when possible.

- US Citizenship required. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 4 years of equivalent experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communications Fluent in English
- Experience with Word, Outlook, Kronos & PeopleSoft.
- Applicant must have familiarity with electronic assemblies, and surface mount assemblies.
- Ability to solder on most products in the factory.
- Able to interpret IPC-A-610 standards for acceptability and customer specifications.
- Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values.
