as necessary Follow up with clients regarding skipped payments and missed payment plan payments Assist in generating / distributing reports for aged A / R and unbilled time, open invoices, credits, payment history and any other reports, as requested Process returned mail particularly invoices and reminder statements Assist and / or prepare accounts receivable write off requests and process approved write off requests Acts as a liaison between the attorneys and their legal assistants and the Accounting Department Prepare letters and emails to clients Interact with Billing Coordinator(s) and A / P Coordinator regarding client account status Requirements for Account Receivable S pecialist : Bachelor Degree preferred 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or accounting environment Legal software experience highly preferred (i.
