Summary
One postdoc position in Protein X-ray Crystallography is available at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. The successful candidate is expected to have strong expertise and a track record of publications in the field.
One critical requirement is he / she can work independently to perform protein crystallization with small molecule ligands / inhibitors, X-ray diffraction, data collection and structural refinement.
Basic molecular biology / biochemistry techniques (cloning, construction of protein expression plasmids, western blot, etc) are required.
The main duties are to obtain X-ray crystal structures of biologically important proteins with novel small molecule inhibitors.

Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
