My client is an employee-owned general contractor that is looking for a Senior Project Manager / Project Executive to join their team.
This person will oversee large-scale and complex program of construction projects. Ideally, my client would like someone with ground up mission critical project experience.
You will be based in the Jacksonville, FL office. Must have GC experience
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and coordinate multiple construction projects to ensure alignment with design specifications, budget constraints, and project timelines.
- Play a key role in the growth of the business by :
- Setting clear goals and managing team performance with a focus on safety, budget management, scheduling, quality, and adherence to company standards.
- Planning and organizing recruitment and staffing for essential office and field positions.
- Assisting in resolving issues and interfacing with owners, A / E representatives, or subcontractors as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with all company, client, and project policies and standards.
- Providing guidance on planning, scheduling, and construction management as necessary.
- Assisting with project mobilization and demobilization.
- Overseeing assigned projects with a comprehensive understanding of contracts, subcontractor agreements, project billing, and monthly financial reporting.
- Executing additional tasks as directed by executive management.
- Managing client and project pursuits, including overseeing bids and preconstruction activities.
Working Conditions :
- Construction environment with a requirement for 50% travel. Positions available in the Phoenix, Arizona or Jacksonville, Florida offices.
- Physical demands include crawling, climbing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, standing for extended periods, lifting and holding over 50 lbs, talking, hearing, and occasional sitting.
- Must handle confined spaces, extreme heights, and variable weather conditions safely.
- Reporting To : Vice President of Commercial Construction.
What We Expect :
Education / Experience Minimum high school diploma / GED and 15 years’ experience as a project manager required. Four-year degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
