Job Summary :
Do NOT Apply if you don’t have experience please!!! University Home Care is looking for an individual with extensive experience in Medicare intake for home health services to join our team as an Experience ONLY Medicare intake specialist.
This position is a part-time role with a base salary plus commission, located in our Livonia, Michigan office. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for managing the intake process for Medicare patients and ensuring all necessary documentation and requirements are met for proper billing and reimbursement.
Compensation & Benefits :
The compensation for this position is $25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
Responsibilities :
- Utilize your extensive experience with Medicare intake to accurately process and review all documentation for Medicare patients
- Ensure all necessary information is obtained and entered into the system for proper billing and reimbursement
- Communicate with patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance companies to gather missing information or resolve any issues
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all intake activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient processing of Medicare intakes
- Stay updated on changes in Medicare policies and regulations to ensure compliance
Requirements :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Medicare intake for home health services
- Strong understanding of Medicare regulations and policies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems
