Job Summary
The LDL is primarily responsible for the successful development, delivery, execution, and management of all of the Client's training-related needs.
The LDL is expected to comprehend and communicate the disease state, marketplace, and product-specific materials and must possess effective facilitation and communication skills.
As a partner to sales management, should be highly competent on aspects of sales leadership and application of selling skills in complex customer environments.
Job Responsibilities (Duties may include, but are not limited to all of the following)
Delivery Responsibilities
Oversees implementation of and delivers new hire sales training programs, including both the product components and application of the selling model through all live and virtual sections of the programs.
Assists with advanced training, NSMs, and POAs training.
- Manages classroom environment in a manner that allows representatives to meet learning objectives
- Coaches representatives during training classes
- Evaluates the competency levels of training class participants and provides timely evaluations and feedback
Liaison Responsibilities
- Supports Field Sales and RBD team by leading efforts around national sales meetings, POA meetings, manager meetings, and other training interventions
- Works with Field Sales Leadership to provide coaching on managerial effectiveness and other topics
- Interface with client Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Market Access, and Sales Operations teams to help identify, build, and deliver relevant training to Field Sales Teams
Design Responsibilities
- Conducts ongoing training needs analyses
- Creates and maintains Training Plan to determine goals, strategies, and tactics to be implemented to achieve client satisfaction
- Develops training concepts and associated objectives, descriptions, and sequencing for all training efforts
- Works with Field Sales Leadership, National Field Sales Training Manager, and the Field Trainers to determine specific metrics and measurements to assess the success of training activities
Development Responsibilities
- Provides functional skill-building and development to National Field Sales Training Manager and the Field Trainers
- Oversees content for all forms of training delivery & works with the content developer / vendor
- Nurtures the training concepts throughout their evolution to ensure alignment with the strategic intent of the overall brand objectives
- Engages with designated Field Sales Team and Client HQ Member throughout the entirety of development process
- Oversees live training logistical and preparation support, including scheduling assistance, printing guides, and facilities requirements
- If needed, conducts leader or facilitator training for all developed content and provides support for delivery as requested
- Manages live training intellectual property and leverages existing assets appropriately to improve project efficiency
Specific Requirements
- Background in pharmaceutical sales required with additional commercial experience in sales operations, marketing, and / or market access desirable.
- Expertise in leading pharmaceutical / life sciences sales training required, applying sales competencies and selling skills model
- Strong preference to be located in a workable radius from the Yardley, PA headquarters office as a presence in the office will be required at times
Job Qualifications
Education
Required : 4-year college degree
Preferred : MBA or masters in instructional design
Skills
Required : Bio-pharma training experience, including in delivery of pharmaceutical product and sales skills, high-level PowerPoint skills
Preferred : 5 years' s uccessful Pharma sales / sales management experience; Background in consulting, instructional design
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $X to $Y. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position.
Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions / bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
