Job Title : Senior Piping / Plumbing BIM Manager

Location : Phoenix, AZ

Overview :

In Phoenix, AZ, we're looking for a Senior Piping / Plumbing BIM Manager with extensive experience in leading BIM processes for complex Mechanical HVAC, DWV, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing, and Process Pipe projects.

This senior-level position is responsible for overseeing the creation of detailed 3D models, leading coordination meetings with clients, fostering collaboration across disciplines, and guiding the production of fabrication and installation drawings.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and Navisworks, along with significant experience in mentoring BIM Coordinators and managing multidisciplinary teams to achieve project excellence.

Major Responsibilities :

• Lead the development of Mechanical HVAC, DWV, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing, and Process Pipe 3D models with a strategic approach.
• Direct and participate in high-level coordination meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Spearhead collaboration efforts with other disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.
• Oversee the generation and management of RFIs for effective communication with the design team.
• Ensure the creation of precise shop drawings for fabrication and installation purposes, including compatibility with robotic total station technologies.
• Provide senior-level guidance to field personnel to guarantee alignment with project specifications.
• Develop and mentor a team of BIM Coordinators, enhancing their skills in modeling, software utilization, and project documentation.
• Evaluate and recommend technological advancements and software / hardware requirements to optimize BIM processes.

Qualifications :

• Over 10 years of experience in 3D modeling for mechanical or plumbing systems, with a demonstrated track record of leading BIM projects.
• Expertise in Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks, and Bluebeam, with the ability to mentor others in these applications.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management software.
• Strong foundation in construction principles, with significant experience in project management, estimation, and scope definition.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills, capable of managing teams and projects to successful completion.
• Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and highly motivated, with a proven ability to thrive in a team environment and lead complex projects.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• In-depth experience with Autodesk Forge, Dynamo, and BIM360.
• More than 5 years of direct construction-related experience, with a focus on project management or senior leadership roles.
