Responsibilities
The Customer Service Representative III in the Acute Care Therapy Department at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center provides the evaluation and treatment of patients with a wide variety of diagnoses in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding medical setting.
You'll perform complex customer service representative duties including but not limited to handling / processing in and outbound telephone and web-based interactions as well as written correspondence and documentation with little to no supervision.
Expectations :
Prepares and submits documentation related to program compliance
Provides data entry related to patient registration / re-registration, patient billing and patient scheduling
Maintains timely data entry according to policy and in conjunction with health system billing office, generates system reports detailing claim status, meets month end deadlines, and activates new accounts
Works to remedy clinic rehab billing issues and denied claims, reviews and updates coding, CPT, ICD-9 information, and works with manager to rectify coding modifiers

Qualifications
Minimum :
Three years related experience.
High School Diplomas / GED.
Preferred :
Experience with any regulatory, coding, billing, and accounting as it relates to the position.
College level business classes.
