The Operations Team Lead is a key supporting role to work with manufacturing team members on the production floor and collaborating with Supervisors and Managers to ensure the processes run smoothly while supporting teammates and accomplishing productivity goals.
The Team Lead will work on a 2-2-3 Night shift rotation in our Can Filling department, collaborating to ensure the safe and efficient operation of processing equipment to maintain quality and conformity of filled and packaged products.
2-2-3 schedule 6 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 AM (Rotational weekends)
Must be able to Work a NIGHT SHIFT during the first month for Full Training, Support and Transition program
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
As the Operations Team Lead in our Can Filling department, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
You'll be a strong support system for both Supervisors, Managers, and your fellow team members on the production floor. Your focus will be on :
- Leading by Example : You'll set the tone for a safe, productive, and quality-focused work environment.
- Operational Excellence : You'll collaborate with Supervisors and Managers to optimize production processes, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
- Teamwork & Support : You'll coach and mentor team members, provide training and development opportunities, and foster a collaborative spirit.
- Quality & Efficiency : You'll ensure the safe and efficient operation of processing equipment, maintaining the highest quality standards for filled and packaged products.
- Communication & Problem-Solving : You'll maintain clear communication with team members, Supervisors, and Managers, and effectively resolve production challenges.
- Inspect machines and equipment as needed to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
- Provide proactive, efficient, and reliable SUPPORT to ensure safety, quality, GMP compliance, work rules, and collaborative efforts across the production line.
- Initiate resolution / Communicate of technical, unusual, or complex problems or issues on shift.

- Great attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate with team members at all levels.
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and adapt.

Important to have :
Work experience in a related field (manufacturing / production) in a Team Lead and / or Training role.
Food manufacturing, GMP’s, demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a Microsoft Windows environment, including proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and internal software programs.
Education : High School diploma or equivalent.
