What You Will Do
The ideal candidate will be at the forefront of shaping Trimble’s future, playing a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic acquisitions, partnerships, and investments that drive our growth and innovation.
As a Sr. Manager of Corporate Development, you’ll be instrumental in expanding our technology portfolio across the construction, geospatial, and transportation sectors.

Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential acquisition targets and strategic partnerships
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging technologies and market trends
Collaborate with business unit leaders to align M&A strategy with overall corporate objectives
Lead comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial, operational, and technical assessments
Develop sophisticated financial models and valuation analyses to support investment decisions
Evaluate synergy potential and integration risks for potential targets
Manage the end-to-end M&A process, from initial outreach to deal closing
Monitor and report on integration progress and synergy achievement
Continuously assess Trimble's existing portfolio for potential divestitures or restructuring opportunities
Develop and execute strategies for non-core asset divestitures when appropriate
Maintain relationships with investment banks, legal advisors, and other external partners
Collaborate with investor relations to communicate M&A strategy and results to the investment community
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
7+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or strategy consulting
Strong understanding of the technology sector, preferably with experience in Trimble's core markets
Excellent financial modeling and valuation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups
