Preference is for a candidate in the Mountain Time Zone.

Job Profile Summary

The Paralegal will play a key role in supporting the VP, General Counsel by performing a variety of administrative duties, under the supervision of the GC, including drafting correspondence and documents, reviewing and revising contracts and memoranda, directing incoming inquiries, and communicating with stakeholders, vendors, and related personnel.

You will assist with a variety of ad hoc compliance related projects and the right candidate for this role will possess strong project management skills and a basic understanding of telecommunications regulatory compliance.

This is a part-time, fully remote position (CO preferred; AZ, NV, NM, TX, UT).

Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to)

  • Support the GC on a variety of legal and compliance projects including inquiries from the business units.
  • Under the supervision of the GC, review, negotiate, and draft various legal documents, agreements, memoranda, contracts, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Project manage multiple complex legal and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a contracts and documents database.
  • Collect, organize, and prepare, on a timely basis, filings related to Commnets business including regulatory filings related to government contracts and telecommunications functions.
  • Perform legal research and summarize findings in clear and concise memoranda.
  • Provide support on a variety of ad-hoc operational projects and tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Years Experience : 2 - 4 Yrs
  • Minimum Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Paralegal Certificate

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with the telecommunications / electronic communications service regulatory landscape.
