We have an immediate need for a skilled Full-Time Driver / Shopping Cart Recovery Agent to join our team and undertake a variety of tasks including collection and repair of abandoned shopping carts.
Responsibilities
- Collect and return abandoned shopping carts.
- Perform general repairs on equipment and property.
- Troubleshoot problems and make recommendations for repairs or other solutions.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good condition.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, policies, procedures, and procedures manual.
- Conduct outbound calls to customers for debt recovery purposes
- Analyze customer accounts and payment history to determine appropriate recovery strategies
- Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with customers
- Document all communication and actions taken in the recovery process
- Provide excellent customer service while adhering to company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record (must pass drug test)
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and general equipment.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organization skills with a proven track record in keeping the store clean and presentable for every customer visit
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must pass background check.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as collections or customer service, is preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze customer accounts and financial information
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and documentation
- Knowledge of debt recovery laws and regulations is a plus
