Bench grinders / Deburr operators perform finishing tasks on complex machined aerospace parts using a variety of tools. These individuals work under direct supervision to perform basic deburr operations such as edge breaking and simple surface finishing tasks.
They will work with basic deburr tools. They will also work with pneumatic tools and use deburr pads to hand-finish surfaces on parts.
These individuals should be able to interpret and follow work instructions, including work orders and travelers. After training, these employees will also be expected to complete shop transactions in the MRP system.
This is an entry-level position that requires 0-1 year of experience. This position would be a good fit for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
- Perform basic deburr operations on machined parts.
- Utilize deburr tools and hand-finishing techniques to work on machined parts.
- Interpret and follow work orders and track necessary transactions in the MRP system.
Required Skills :
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- The ability to lift to 35 lbs.
Required Experience :
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
- 0-1 Years of Exp.
Level of Education :
GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $18.00 to $25.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors.
For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter.
