Te Whatu Ora, at the forefront of revolutionising New Zealand's Public Health System, presents an exceptional opportunity as a Regional Change Lead.

Take charge of regional change management during a pivotal transition period. Your role will be instrumental in fostering alignment and collaboration across various regions, ensuring seamless execution of change initiatives.

By spearheading strategic health outcomes, you will play a key role in advancing innovation and growth within the organisation.

Mōu About you

As the Regional Change Lead, you will play a key part in our exciting journey of change! As part of our team, you will be responsible for leading the way in our transition to a more digital future.

Your main tasks will involve developing and implementing our Regional Data & Digital transition framework, making sure everything is well-coordinated and aligned across regions, and collaborating closely with various stakeholders.

If any challenges arise, you'll be there to identify them and come up with clever solutions. Plus, you'll keep everyone updated on progress and maintain great relationships with all the key players.

Your role will be crucial in setting us up for success as we move towards a modern digital service.

  • A proven track record in senior leadership roles within the Data & Digital sector, encompassing the successful management of operational teams and the strategic oversight of transformative programs.
  • A history of driving successful change management initiatives within large-scale organisations, highlighting your ability to navigate intricate transformations with finesse.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and adeptness in communicating across various levels of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in strategic planning, performance evaluation, and financial management, showcasing your capacity to ensure not just the achievement of objectives, but also the optimization of resources.

  • A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions. This includes an understanding of the significance of and obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the ability to apply Te Tiriti principles in a meaningful way in this role
  • Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
