About The Position
Job Title : Electrophysiology Technician Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - EEG Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 1 year;
First-time applicants are acceptable License : Valid RN or Allied license; inquire for specifics Certifications : Not specified Must-Have : COVID-19 Vaccine (Medical / Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed) Job Description : Work as an EEG Technician in a Short Term Acute Care facility- Position requires floating between different units- On-call duty required every 5th weekend- Weekend work required for one day each weekend- Participation in orientation program consisting of 40 hours- Participation in non-billable training modules pre-start and annually- Opportunity to work in a teaching hospital with 629 staffed beds- Utilize Epic for charting- Engage in work at a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center- Scrub color requirements : Vary by department- Maintain compliance with module and travel requirements- Must have two supervisory references from the past three years within a similar specialty / setting Note : You may be required to float between nearby sister facilities.
Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. Remember to complete all mandatory modules as required before the start of the job.
