POSITION SUMMARY :
The Sales Development Representative will help support business strategies to grow FHCP commercial employer group business.
This role will represent all FHCP group products through focused outreach to employers and agents / brokers within the communities we serve.
The Sales Development Representative will be expected to communicate the FHCP value proposition through targeted cold calls, emails, social outreach, and networking with prospective group.
Position will develop prospective clients while working cohesively with FHCP / Florida Blue sales team members and agent channels.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education, skills, and experience :
- BA or BS degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in health insurance sales or related market.
- Experience in sales with full range of health care product knowledge to include Medicare and ACA, preferred.
- Superior organization and planning skills with emphasis on priorities and goal setting.
- Ability to positively influence others and projects a strong, informed community image.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in developing and providing presentations.
- Ability to communicate information whether technical or non-technical to staff members, customers, and agent brokers in a clear and concise manner.
- Must hold an active state of Florida Health Agency Health Insurance License in good standing or ability to acquire within three months of hire..
- Knowledge and experience with Florida Blue and / or Florida Health Care Plans health products preferred.
- Experience / membership in community organizations such as Chambers of Commerce and professional associations preferred.
- Valid Florida Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work flexible schedule include evenings and weekends
