The Content Marketing Specialist creates written marketing and sales content for various mediums such as the Company website, newsletters, case studies, blog, white papers, and more.
This position plans, researches, organizes, and executes content projects to be used both online and offline.
Responsibilities
- Creates engaging and meaningful copy to support brand strategies
- Writes marketing and sales content for multiple media channels including websites, social media, interactive applications, emails, banner ads, search engine, user interfaces, style guides, print, and presentation collateral
- Writes and project manages the creation of marketing content, including web content and thought leadership such as white papers and eBooks, case studies and articles
- Manages the writing, execution, and content curation of monthly newsletters
- Researches statistical information for various projects, articles. and collateral
- Interviews clients and clinicians for articles and collects photos and other necessary information
- Monitors engagement of content on social media platforms; measures and reports metrics as needed
- Converts content into various formats and mediums
- Assists in content writing for surveys
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS (IF APPLICABLE)
- Writes, edits, and proofreads corporate communications prior to distribution
- Conducts survey analysis as needed
- May work on special projects or other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY / BUDGETARY / EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY
May communicate with external clients, clinicians, and service providers
QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree with major course work in communications, journalism, or a related field
- 3+ years of editorial experience required
- Prior experience with article writing, interviewing, and copy editing
