Position Summary
This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Donor Relations Assistant for the Office of Development at Oregon State University (OSU).
Our Beaver Nation, the fundraising arm of Oregon State Athletics comes together to create experiences, tell stories, and builds communities to encapsulate the impact that college athletics has on fans, donors, alumni, and friends to join the mission of Oregon State Athletics through philanthropy in making the world a better place and feel appreciated for the difference they make through partnerships with the university and our student-athletes.
Our Beaver Nation is seeking an Oregon State student to work in the Donor Relations unit. As a member of the Our Beaver Nation team, this student employee will provide administrative support for donor recognition and stewardship activities under the direction of the Director of Donor Relations.
This student will help assure that donors are stewarded in a thoughtful and timely manner while also providing unique and memorable experiences.
The work location for this position is Gill Coliseum. Position Duties
- Preparation of major gift announcements
- Send weekly gift acknowledgements
- Support Bennyfits program to steward annual fund donors and season ticket holders
- Stewardship and events for major gift giving groups
- Updating donor recognition
- Preparation and distribution of game tickets, field passes and travel packets
- Event and game day assistance as assigned, may require some nights and weekends

- Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
- Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment

- International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered full-time by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
A reduced course load is approved by the (OIS), and must be provided to the Student Employment Center. Additional Required Qualifications This is a part-time position working 10-15 hours per week with the option to work additional hours during breaks.
Preferred (Special) Qualifications Must be a student at Oregon State University and have a general understanding of office practices.
Be able to handle interpersonal relationships maturely, thoughtfully, and empathetically, including the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
