Behavior Technician (Full Time)

Systems is currently looking for full and part time Behavior Technicians who are :

As a Behavior Technician, you will :
- Be responsible for implementing individuals' Behavioral and Mental Health plans, as well as working with them to achieve their goals.
- Support the values and foundation of Applied Behavior Analysis as well as Positive Behavioral Supports.
- Teach people the skills to necessary to carry out daily living tasks which could include bathing, preparing meals, assistance with transportation, and learning to manage their own behavior and mental health needs.
- Write documentation about the supports you provided during your shift.
Minimum Qualifications for this position :
- At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have one of the following : Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human services, applied behavior analysis or similar field and at least three months of experience supporting people with behavior support needs, or Associates degree in psychology, human services, applied behavior analysis or similar field and at least one year of experience supporting people with behavior support needs, or Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician with at least one year of experience supporting people with behavior support needs, or At least two years of experience supporting people with behavior support needs
- Ability to communicate clearly in oral and written forms in order to provide necessary supports and produce a variety of documentation which meets or exceeds state and agency standards.
- Ability to implement and provide highly intensive behavioral support needs and other behavior intervention strategies, including physical intervention techniques.
Other Qualifications : A valid driver's license and a driving record that is acceptable from a risk management perspective may be required.
Must be able to successfully complete initial training program.
