I am currently working with a leading AM LAW 100 ranked law firm , who are actively looking to recruit a partner to join their growing Insurance Litigation group in Chicago.
Job Description :
The national group is seeking an experienced and motivated Litigation Partner to join it's Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex insurance coverage litigation, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality legal services to clients.
Responsibilities :
- Handle high level and complex litigation matters from regional and national clients.
- Represent insurers in class action cases.
- Litigate other types of toxic tort coverage claims, including asbestos.
- Represent insurers in bankruptcy proceedings.
- Assist in the further development of the firm's insurance coverage litigation practice.
- Network and develop new clients in both Chicago and the wider region.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the Illinois state bar.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience practicing insurance coverage litigation - ideally in an AM LAW setting.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- A book of portable business is required.
