Job Description :
The national group is seeking an experienced and motivated Corporate Finance Attorney to join it's Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance law, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality legal services to clients.
Responsibilities :
- Work with leading partners on a broad array of corporate finance matters, including M&A transactions, securities law, venture capital, private equity, and corporate governance.
- You will work with national clients on investment transactions, finance related forms and statements and provide advice on corporate governance matters.
- You will work as lead associate on public and / or private offerings of equity and debt securities.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the Illinois state bar.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience practicing corporate finance law matters - ideally gained in a large law firm setting.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
