Direct Counsel is partnered with a leading global law firm seeking a 3rd to 4th year Associate to join their Corporate Finance Practice Area.

The position is available in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Miami and Dallas.
Requirements :
- 3-4 years of corporate and transactional experience focused in the Finance & Banking area.
- Excellent writing and analytical skills, along with a strong academic background.
- Must be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction in which you will be located.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
- Draft legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and memos.
- Assist in estate planning and environmental law matters.
- Negotiate on behalf of clients in various legal areas.
- Utilize writing skills to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Stay updated on banking regulations and securities law.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a law office setting to provide comprehensive legal services.
Compensation and Benefits :
Salary range is based on Year of JD Class starting at $235,000 per year for 2022 graduates. Comprehensive benefits available including Medical, Dental, Vision and paid time off.
