A energy company based in the Silver Spring MD area is looking for a Senior Accountant to assist with accounting for development projects.
Ideal candidate has 4+ years corporate accounting experience with US GAAP and IFRS. Hybrid role 3-4 days / week in office.
$100-$120k salary range.
Duties :
- Handle month close processes such as reconciliations, accruals, reclasses and general ledger maintenance.
- Maintain roll forward and supporting balance sheet schedules.
- Prepare project financial statements, including P&L and cash flow.
- Support tax return preparation as well as AR / billing processes.
- Assist with automation of project accounting workflow tools.
Requirements :
- BS in Accounting.
- 4+ years hands-on accounting experience, ideally a combination of public accounting and corporate.
- CPA license.
- IFRS exposure.
- Ability to be in the office 3-4 days / week.
