Months
Role will be hybrid with some travel to PowerGen powerhouses. Only submit local candidates to Livermore / Bay Area and within client service territory.
Available for onsite visits % to % of time. Must be available for overnight visits to client mountain locations. or visits per quarter required.
Proper PPE will be provided by client before any onsite visits. Expenses will be reimbursed for travel.

Job Description :
- Partner with cross-functional teams to conceptualize training design and content.
- Define learning objectives, course structure, learning content and assessments.
- Complete detailed analysis of each task to be trained / supported for target audience, business process, and systems.
- Follow company standards, guidelines, and templates to develop learning materials including student and facilitator presentations and guides, activities, scenarios, and assessments.
Create instructional graphics, scenarios, or interactions. Write clear and effective instruction and facilitator text appropriate for the target audience.
- Conduct meetings with subject matter experts including task analysis, alpha, beta, and answer validation meetings.
- Engage with subject matter experts for ongoing content review and validation. Receive and incorporate feedback.
- Self-manage assigned tasks and deadlines to complete deliverables. Proactively communicate issues and risks.
Skills
- years’ experience developing instructor-led, hands on technical skills training.
- years’ experience developing web based training.
- Experience developing training for utility industry.
- Experience with technical writing
- Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies.
- Very strong task analysis knowledge and capability
- Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Articulate Storyline.
- Flexibility to work on simultaneous development efforts, as needed.
- Knowledge of QuestionMark and Author-it.
- Comfortable and capable working on a High Performing Team
- Safety knowledge strongly desired.
- Lock out tag out knowledge strongly desired.
- Must be willing to work Pacific Time Zone business hours

Bachelor's degree ideal but not required.
