Your Role
Mission
Implement and develop strategies to increase focus and improve results within the Optimization Pillar segment of Compressor Technique Service (CTS) Sales, including, guiding and inspiring the sales teams to achieve ambitious targets for the Optimization products : AIRnet, AIRscan, Optimizers / Multi compressor controllers, and Energy Recovery.
Roles and Responsibilities
Manage the ongoing alignment between the company’s Optimization products and services with the needs, trends, and preferences of target customer segments.
The focus will be set on implementing strategies in collaboration with the CTS Sales VP / Business Line Manager to grow the Optimization portfolio, develop teams with product focused goals, and implement campaigns to improve focus on Optimization products.
Set targets with the CTS Sales VP / BLM and relevant Division(s) within Atlas Copco. The targets should cover top line, market contribution, and gross profit.
Work in close cooperation with the Marketing team to develop the most successful marketing strategy.
Must demonstrate excellence in leading, developing, and inspiring teams. Responsible for defining training and development plans for direct sales, distributor sales.
Analyze results and define action plans when results are deviating from the set targets. Responsible for further developing existing relationships and increasing dealer-share with our partners by participating in a loyalty plan.
Must define strategies to further develop efficient territory management and present options for organizational changes needed to meet target, and implement change management as needed.
Maintain close relationship with Global VP of Optimization and colleagues within other Customer Centers while developing plans and strategies.
Provide monthly reporting and when requested attend Divisional Business Review Meetings specific to Optimization, including preparation and presentation for topics such as sales development, sales-actions, dealer-development, and efficiency of territory coverage.
Contribute as a member of the local management team to the efficient, flexible, and competent management of the company to maximize the potential of all products and brands.
Ensure that "The Way We Do Things" and Business code of practice is followed.
The following competencies and requirements are essential : A proven track record in sales and / or marketing of compressor equipment or services, strong in developing business strategies, and a proven track record in people management.
Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers.
Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.
Take appropriate actions to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people / employees considered necessary to get the job done.

Experience
5-10 years of progressive sales management experience in industrial compressor industry, preferably within the Atlas Copco Group.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred, or equivalent mix of education and / or experience.
Skills
Must have skills in direct sales as well as distribution sales, development of partner networks, and developing forward looking strategies utilizing existing teams or developing new teams.
Must have great communication skills - written and spoken, as well as relationship building skills, team building skills, and negotiation skills.
Must be results-oriented, self- motivated and proactive. Must be efficient in Microsoft Office programs, and other web applications.
Up to 25% travel required. Must have a valid driver’s license.
