What You Will Do :
The Project Manager for Business Process Improvement will be responsible for assessing the current state process of the asset lifecycle and relative information flow for a large, international program to isolate root cause issues towards achieving both an initial trial balance for asset inventory records and accurate asset visibility between digital records and physical asset positions.
The Project Manager will also be responsible to measure process gaps and efficiencies of existing workflows and existing efforts towards achieving the client’s desired outcomes and requirements of the future state.
Additional responsibilities are as follows :
Interview process owners and measure variation of process workflows as necessary to quantify variation and waste in the current state
Map the current, marked-up, and future state physical and information flows of the enterprise
Draft and present process deficiency impacts and an agreed-upon future state with cost-effective or savings recommendations.
Support a team of requirements analysts focused on consolidating requirements across both government and industry
Develop strategies to gain customer buy-in towards a common operating picture, solution architecture, and roadmap for execution
Support client large and small meeting facilitation to gather requirements, assess barriers to implementation, develop strategies to adjudicate and / or prioritize organizational requirements
Support the advisement to client leadership team on communications through complex transformation and organizational development using best practices in change management, communications, and stakeholder engagement
What You Will Need :
An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance or the ability to obtain one
Bachelor's Degree -OR- FOUR (4) years of relevant experience in lieu of education
FIVE (5) or more years’ of experience supporting federal government customers in business process improvement, business process re-engineering, process optimization, and / or lean six sigma
Must be able to independently travel within the Washington, DC Metro area to meet with employees, prospective candidates, and Federal clients.

What Would Be Nice To Have :
Master's Degree in Business or a STEM-related field of study
Experience in Federal Accounting, Acquisition, Asset Management and / or Financial Management
Experience in the Department of Defense
Strong facilitation experience
DAIWA Level III certification in Financial Management
Certification in Continuous Improvement (i.e., Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints)
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, flexible, fast-paced environment
Ability to promptly adapt, respond quickly to new information and changing scope in a matrix organization
Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools : Word, Excel, PowerPoint
