Position : Special Education Teacher

Location : Southlake, TX

Pay : Competitive rate of $33-40 per hour

Employment Type : W2, Weekly direct deposit

Job Description :

• Hours : Full-time, 30-40 hours per week
• Schedule : Monday to Friday, with flexibility in scheduling

As a Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with disabilities in Southlake.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in both general education and special education settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best educational outcomes for students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to meet individual goals.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records related to student progress and IEP documentation.
• Stay current with best practices and research in special education to provide high-quality instruction.

Requirements :

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
• Current Texas teaching license in Special Education or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
