McKinney School of Law Location Indianapolis Position Summary INDIANA UNIVERSITY ROBERT H. MCKINNEY SCHOOL OF LAW seeks a senior faculty member to fill the McKinney Family Chair in Information Technology Law.

Applicants must hold a J.D. or equivalent degree, be a tenured faculty member of an academic institution, have made consistent and substantial contributions to IT scholarship, demonstrate a strong record of teaching, have a proven record of sustained and collegial contributions to discourse in prior work, and have experience working with or mentoring diverse populations.

The Chair will engage in scholarship and teach courses in Information Technology Law or one of its sub-fields, such as cybersecurity, privacy, data protection, intellectual property, artificial intelligence, legal technology, blockchain, or other areas that inform the impact of technology on human life or the practice of law.

The Chair will teach four courses per academic year, advise students, and direct the joint MJ / BS in Informatics.The Indiana University Robert H.
