Administrative Assistants are vital to the success of our business at P&G. From Day 1, you will be accountable for being responsible for your own projects, working with teams to generate new insights and implementing changes;
as well as being accountable for results. Your responsibilities will include efficient & quality day-to-day administrative support to ensure operational effectiveness of P&G’s Alexandria Plant.
Your team :
As an Administrative Assistant, you will give business administrative support to the Plant Manager, Supply Chain Leaders, and their respective departments.

You should be agile and adaptable to sensing / feedback, a powerful collaborator, and eager to learn new things. You will be a critical partner to Site Leadership down to the team level as well as an important member of the team.
Responsibilities of the role :
- 100% of Calendar management / coordination
- All Business Travel Arrangements & Expense Reporting
- Coordinate all Site Events (i.e. Townhall, Deployment Day, CEO Celebration, etc.)
- Coordination and support of Internal / External visits (i.e. CEO, Senior Vice Presidents, Senior Directors, Government / Community Leaders, etc.)
- Assist with business related situations / emergencies that arise
- Coordinate Supply Chain / Departments site visits logistics
- Owner of the Site Newsletter and Bathroom Business
- Lead or support the execution of all Site or Community EventsCoordinate Lunch & Learns site sessions.Coordinate Site trainings logisticsCoordinate focus groups logisticsCoordination of refreshments, safety, and security requirementsCommunication of agenda, site attire and event townhall as applicable
- Placement of orders in company system : Placing Purchase Orders (POs)Confirmation of services provided prior to payment approvalPlacing Good Receipt on Purchase Order for completed work by suppliers / vendors
- Compliance to all stewardship / company guidelines and processes
- Adherence to our Worldwide Business Conduct Manual (WWBCM)
Job Qualifications
Education :
Have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education, however, a two or four-year college degree or equivalent administrative experience is preferred.
Requirements (Skills / Experience) for the role :
- Servant leadership mindset : A significant portion of the applicant's focus will be required in supporting multiple leadership levels.
- Strong Collaboration & interpersonal skills : The applicant's success and that of the department requires building effective working relationships and collaboration.
Duties include calendar management, meeting coordination, travel planning, and leading budget tracking. Seeking someone with passion for building culture and a positive working environment within the organization.
Preferably experience with Budget Management : Working knowledge to strengthen or proficiency in applications (Coupa, Concur, etc.
Comfort in working in excel tracking documents.
- Agile & Proactive : Effective support will require the ability to flow to the work to support manager and other admins in department when needed, while also proactively identifying outlook conflicts, potential support gaps within the organization to help and acting with urgency to navigate them to resolution.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills : Clear communication with managers and colleagues is critical in establishing clarity of expectations and delivering with excellence.
Aptitude for technology : Applicant must have proficiency with the standard MS Office Toolkit and interest in growing personal skills and the skills of others with current and future productivity tools (e.
g. file sharing, SharePoint, Teams, One Note).
Growth Mindset : Over time the applicant may be encouraged to upskill to keep up building capability and capacity to support North America Transportation Organization's operational success.

Starting Pay / Salary Range : $44,500-$66,700
Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree / credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
