Overview
The Network Administrators (NA) will be responsible for the network administration of all NAIS equipment supported by C5ISC.
Responsibilities
Sets up, configures, and supports internal and / or external networks. Administers design, maintains hubs, servers, and routers.
Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations. Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan.
Analyzes traffic and workload for optimum network performance to ensure organization's objectives are met. Performs work with a high degree of latitude.
Handles the most complex issues.
Qualifications
The Network Administrator’s minimum qualifications : Baccalaureate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or Network Engineering with ten (10) years of network administration experience is required.
Additional experience with current Windows
Operating Systems to include Windows client and server environments. Must
be experienced in the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of current VMWare environments. Must have a working knowledge of maintaining CISCO switches and Firewalls.
An Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II competency with Securityis required.
