Title : Analyst II, Compensation
Under general supervision, responsible for creating and maintaining master payroll records for all licensed and classified employees, including calculating, processing, and entering all licensed, classified and administrator salaries, computing and determining eligibility and supplemental pay;
generating and analyzing appropriate records and salary contracts; and maintaining accurate personnel information required by the district.
Essential Functions :

Reviews employment history and determine salary based upon district guidelines; enters all certified, classified, and administrator salaries for new hire, rehire certificate-degree increases, and position / location changes based on the district salary schedules;
Inputs and maintains employee data on various HRIS system panels (new hire, rehire, retiree, ROTC instructor, administrator, etc.
adjusts salary placement based on certification upgrades and / or experience verifications.
Maintains administrative / professional technical salaries and schedule; assists Compensation Specialist with placement of all administrative / professional technical personnel;
Monitors, enters, and maintains data for all administrative / professional technical annual evaluations.
Computes and determines eligibility and supplemental pay for the district coaches, department chairs, staffing chairs, club sponsors, and special assignments;
Enters and maintains supplemental pay records throughout the year, making changes in the database as needed.
- Verifies and adjusts school / department roster information and enters appropriate data into the ERP system.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for Compensation related issues; receives all incoming telephone calls and responds to voicemail / email messages in the compensation mailboxes and assists with all inperson employee compensation matters.
- Assists in generating salary letters for all licensed and classified employees and administrators.
- Prepares authorization packets and conducts employment authorization sessions for employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Associate degree or equivalent completed college coursework in Business Administration, Human Resources, or closely related fields from a Georgia Professional Standards Commission approved accredited college or university preferred.
- Minimum three years of experience in salary administration, compensation, and / or payroll processing required.
