We are in search of a Financial Analyst to be a part of our team, located in Farmington, Connecticut. The role primarily involves analyzing financial data, creating reports, and utilizing data manipulation techniques to provide insights.
This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable strategies
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to extract and manipulate data for analysis
- Generate comprehensive financial reports for presentation to the team
- Utilize skills in Ad Hoc Financial Analysis to provide insights and recommendations
- Implement data analytics to improve financial processes and operations
- Collaborate with the team to improve financial planning and analysis (FP& A) reporting
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency in all financial reports
- Use various data extraction tools to gather necessary data for analysis
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry financial trends and developments.
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of advanced functions for financial analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in ad hoc financial analysis is required.
- A minimum of two years' experience in financial analysis or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
- High level of proficiency in public speaking and presentation skills.
