R&D Document Specialist

Overview

The R&D Document Specialist performs work per the direction of the R&D International Project / Document Manager to provide the necessary research, documentation and support for International and Domestic product development.

Responsibilities

Essential

• Coordinates product development activities for US and International markets to ensure successful launches
• Manages technical information to assist with product registrations for all countries (Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, China, Malaysia, Singapore, EU, Mexico, etc.)
• Maintains specifications for all raw ingredients, formulations and components for all product categories
• Coordinates with Chemists to prepare formulation specifications, and additional documentation required for VFL, Personal Care, Sei Bella, Ecosense, etc.

product registrations for all countries

• Maintains current records as well as historical archives for all product registrations for all domestic and International products
• Prepares necessary documentation for Kosher & Halal product certifications

Qualifications

• Good math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.)
• Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy
• Proficient in PC applications including word processing (e.g. Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (e.g. Excel), database (e.g.

Access / Accuterm) and web browsers

• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Communicate courteously and effectively via telephone (e.g. Telephone Etiquette)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Maintain enthusiasm under stress
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
